Business Intelligence Fellowship

Business Intelligence Fellowship
Job Description

About LEVICK Business Intelligence: LEVICK Business Intelligence specializes in sensitive and complex due diligence, political risk, and litigation support investigations. LEVICK Business Intelligence is uniquely situated inside a renowned crisis communications firm, and operates independently of, and in conjunction with, the varied LEVICK communications practices. We conduct in-depth investigations into a wide variety of domestic and international issues and concerns, and we regularly provide guidance to clients facing reputational issues, litigation, accusations of corruption and bribery (to include Foreign Corrupt Practices Act matters), and much more.

About the Fellowship: A LEVICK Business Intelligence Fellow plays an integral role in contributing to the team’s efforts. The Fellow conducts extensive Internet and media database research regarding companies and individuals, and all of this research becomes part of the practice’s larger investigative products. Additionally, the Fellow will perform research in support of new business opportunities for the practice and for the firm as a whole.

The Fellow is expected to demonstrate an interest in, and comprehension of, various national and global issues. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting research, analyzing findings, and diluting large amounts of information into short, digestible reports. Most importantly, a Fellow must have the ability to think critically and craft clear, concise, and logical briefs. The Fellow should have excellent written and oral communications skills, keen attention to detail, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the discretion to keep sensitive information confidential.

The Fellow will also be required to provide administrative support to the Business Intelligence team as well as the office as a whole. This includes, but is not limited to: reception desk coverage, running office errands, sorting and distribution of mail, re-stocking office supplies, and general office organization, as well as setting up catering for meetings and events, and then cleaning up after those meeting and events.

Requirements

·       A demonstrable interest in and knowledge of domestic and global affairs

·       An ability to prioritize several projects and assignments on multiples topics while on tight deadlines

·       Must be a self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment in which multi-tasking is the norm

·       Must be able to transition easily from working as a team player to working independently

·       Must be someone who strives for excellence, with a desire to grow and learn from the experience of the Fellowship

·       B.A. in Political Science, International Relations, Regional Studies, or other related areas of study is desired, but is not a requirement

·       Ability and willingness to work a regular 40.00 week
