Libor May Spell Big Trouble for Financial Institutions

Today on Forbes.com, Richard Levick discusses how the Libor scandal compromises the very integrity of the global financial system and the institutions responsible for leading and protecting it. At this point, even a much smaller scandal might be one scandal too many for a public whose patience has been utterly exhausted. As a result, banks need to consider communications strategies that will protect their interests in Congress, which may have no choice but to impose a harsher regulatory regimen or even reenact Glass-Steagall.
