Jonathan Amar
Director, Corporate
In the motions and the things that you say, it all will fall...fall right into place.
— Isaac Brock

Jonathan Amar directs several LEVICK accounts through media relations, corporate brand reputation management, message creation and multi-channel digital strategy.

He has represented some of the nation’s top real estate developers and investors, including Grosvenor Americas, MRP Realty, Legacy Partners, and national coworking company MakeOffices, and has provided expert communications counsel to emerging brands and established nonprofits and corporations, alike.

Jon uses his Capitol Hill experience, where he served as a Communications Director to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) and Deputy Press Secretary to Congressman Alan Lowenthal (CA-47), to connect his clients with communities and third-party advocates that matter most – when stakes are higher than ever. He has deployed political communication strategies that resulted in extensive local and national media coverage, and always pushes clients to think creatively about where and when to promote, or evolve, their brand.

Prior to joining LEVICK, Jon held a brief stint at a digital public affairs firm where he was the managing digital strategist for the nation’s largest pharmaceutical industry association. He was previously a top strategist at the boutique communications and marketing firm Chase Communications, which was acquired by LEVICK in January 2017.

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Jon began his career in the startup world working for a hyperlocal e-commerce startup. Jon led the grassroots marketing team that assisted the build-out of the startup’s Southern California network and user base. He then turned his focus to political campaigns, and went on to serve as Deputy Communications Director of a highly competitive DCCC “Red-to-Blue” congressional race. The race brought him to Washington, D.C., where he resides today.
