Jeff Raleigh is a former senior level U.S. Diplomat and senior manager for one of the world’s largest public relations and public affairs agencies. He has provided strategic communications counsel to Fortune 500 C-Suite executives, senior members of the State Department, the Department of Defense, the UK Ministry of Defense and Foreign Office, and the presidents of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Mr. Raleigh has worked in more than 30 countries on five continents.
He is particularly experienced with a wide range of corporate and environmental issues in California where, among other sensitive public affairs matters, he handled all of the communications for Sumitomo during its successful purchase of Pebble Beach.
Mr. Raleigh has served as Executive Vice President for Hill & Knowlton Public Relations, among other positions within the firm including Head of Client Service, Director of Global Accounts, Head of the Environmental Practice, and member of the U.S. and Asia Pacific Management teams.
He previously managed a campaign to site California’s Low Level Radioactive Waste facility working closely with the CPUC, PG&E, U.S. Department of Energy, and the NRC.
His past experience includes the Embassy of the United States, Kabul as Senior Counsel, where he was responsible for strategic communications for the U.S. Mission to Afghanistan and reported directly to the U.S. Ambassador.
