Chrysta Castaneda

A practicing litigation attorney and crisis communicator, Chrysta Castañeda specializes in harmonizing the needs of the general counsel’s office with the corporate need to communicate during crises and legal challenges.  She advises clients on communications involving litigation, governmental investigations, and product recalls. Ms. Castañeda draws on a wealth of experience to help ensure that stakeholder communications support the overall legal strategy. 


As a commercial trial lawyer for over twenty years, Ms. Castañeda has represented clients in virtually all industries facing all manner of crises and litigation, including product liability and recalls, personal injury, industrial disasters, sexual assault, trade secrets, and a variety of technical and engineering issues. She typically helps clients prepare for the announcement of milestone legal events associated with government investigations, indictments, and settlements. 

Ms. Castañeda ran in 2012 to represent the newly created Texas 33rd Congressional district and is the state council president of Ignite, a non-partisan 501c3 organization educating young women to prepare for campaigns to win elected office.
